Bob Beckerman, Owner, B & D Resource
Bob Beckerman brings over 50 years of Food Industry experience to the classroom. His hands on approach to the world of Foodservice and Perishables were born out of opening over 600 Delicatessen, Bakery and other Foodservice operations. He has worked coast to coast for Kroger, American Stores and Supervalu in leadership positions including a couple of years as a Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a leading Frozen Dough manufacturer.
He was a recent recipient of the IDDBA's prestigious President's Award for outstanding service and commitment to the Food Industry and has served on Boards and presented at national, IDDBA, RBA and FMI National Conventions. He is a past President of the Upper Midwest Bakery Association and remains an active board member.
Mr. Beckerman graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Marketing and completed the Executive Educational Program from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. He owns B & D Resource and works with a select group of Companies on marketing, operations and innovative initiatives. He lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife Sharon and is the proud father of six children.
