Registration - Why must I register for both the Alliance and in the IGA Coca-Cola Institute?
- The Alliance and the IGA Coca-Cola Institute are two separate entities. The IGA Coca-Cola Institute is an educational organization dedicated to serving a worldwide retail community. The Alliance provides information about IGA-specific programs that can only be accessed by IGA Retailers, Red Oval Partners and Licensed Distribution Centers.
Registration - Why do I register my store/organization/manager?
- By registering, your store/org/manager will have access to the online training, and you will be able to register employees to take the Institute's online certification courses.
Registration - How do I register a store/organization/manager?
1. Go to the IGA Coca-Cola Institute's website: www.igainstitute.com
2. In the Online Certification Courses box, click Register Store/Org/Manager.
3. Fill out the Store/Organization Registration Form and click Register.
o All communication is sent via email. Make sure you enter a valid email address.
o Along with your store/organization, you can register yourself and another person to have the rights to manage the online training system.
4. A username, password and store code will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours. Registrations submitted on Saturdays and Sundays will be processed the following Monday.
Best Practices
• All the information entered in this form, regardless of the language selected, must be alphanumeric.
• Management should keep the store code confidential.
Registration - How do I register a student?
1. Only managers or your store's training coordinator have the access necessary to register students.
2. Go to the IGA Coca-Cola Institute's website: www.igainstitute.com
3. In the Online Certification Courses box, click Register Student.
4. Fill out the Student Registration Form and click Register.
o To register a student, you will need the store code that was sent to the persons who registered the your store/org.
o You assign the student's username and password. Usernames must be unique. If you use one that is already in the system, you will have to choose a different username.
5. On the Student Enrolled page, verify that the student was registered in the correct store.
6. The system will send a confirmation email with the username and password to the student's email account.
Best Practices
• All the information entered in this form, regardless of the language selected, must be alphanumeric.
• Management should keep the store code confidential.
• Management should keep a list of the employees' usernames and passwords. This is because users frequently forget their username and password.
Courses - How do I enroll in a course?
- 1. Go to the IGA Coca-Cola Institute's website: www.igainstitute.com
2. In the Online Certification Courses box, click Logon.
3. Logon to Online Certification Courses using your username and password you should have received an email with your username and password after you were registered by your manager or training coordinator.
4. On the All Courses page, click the Enroll button next to the name of the course you would like to enroll in. If you are already enrolled in a course, the button will say Start.
o Users can enroll in any of the listed courses.
o Courses are grouped by Package Name (such as Entry Level or Supervisory Level).
5. The course starts.
o Most courses have between three and five post-tests.
o To obtain a course completion certification, you must pass each post-test must with a score of 80% or higher.
o You may take a post-test as many times as necessary, without penalty.

Courses - Which courses should I take?
- Your required courses depend on your role/position and your organization's training program. We recommend all students take at Welcome to Online Training, Customer Service and Professionalism I and II, and a third course related to your role or position in your store.
Courses - How many courses should I take?
- The Institute encourages students to take as many courses as they can. The more you know, the better for your organization, career and personal growth.
Courses - How many times can I take a course?
- You can retake a course as many times as necessary. Because courses are upgraded and updated frequently, you may consider taking those courses relevant to your role once every year. Remember, every time you retake a course, you learn something new!
Courses - Can I drop a course?
Yes, if you enroll in a course and decide not to complete it, you can drop it. Dropping the courses that you do not intend to complete helps you and the Institute keepenrollment records accurate and up-to-date.

2. In the Online Courses box, click Log On.
3. On the Logon page, enter your username and password, select Enrolled Courses and click Logon.
4. On the Enrolled Courses page, click the Drop button next to the name of the course you would like to drop.
5. In the dialog box, click OK to confirm the drop.
6. In the drop confirmation box, click Return to go back to the Enrolled courses page.
Courses - How many times can I take a post-test?
- You may take a post-test as many times as necessary, without penalty.
Courses - Where are my test scores?
- 1. Go to the IGA Coca-Cola Institute's website: www.igainstitute.com
2. In the Online Training box, click Log On.
3. On the Logon page, enter your username and password, then click Logon.
4. On the All Courses or on the Enrolled Courses page, click Grades.
5. On the Gradebook page, find the course that contains the test score you would like to check. Then click on the Details link to the right of that course's name.
6. A new window displays the post-tests' names, scores, status and dates. They are displayed in reversed chronological order, with the most recent test listed first.
Certificates - Where is my course completion certificate?
- 1. Go to the IGA Coca-Cola Institute's website: www.igainstitute.com
2. In the Online Courses box, click Log On.
3. On the Logon page, enter your username and password, then click Logon.
4. On the All Courses or on the Enrolled Courses page, click Grades.
5. On the Gradebook page, view the list of courses that you have enrolled in. Completed courses are listed first.
6. Click on the Certificate icon to the right of the completed course to view the certificate.
7. Click the printer icon on the toolbar or select Print from the File menu.
Certificates - I am no longer employed at the store, but I would like to print my certificates. What is the process for doing this?
- If you are no longer employed by a member organization of the Institute, your access has been terminated. However, for the purpose of printing your certificates, you may request a one-hour access permit. There is a cost of $50 for the permit. Please note that you will have to print the certificates yourself.
Reports - What reports are available?
- 1. Only managers or your store's training coordinator have the access necessary to run reports.
2. 1-Click Report: The 1-Click Report tracks course enrollments of students in your organization. It shows the all the course enrollments of all course enrollments from the past 12 months. This report is available only as an Excel spreadsheet.
3. Registration Report: The Registration Report also tracks course enrollments of students in your organization. However, it is different from the 1-Click Report, because it allows you to define a specific time period for the report (such as the first quarter: Jan 1 – Mar 31).
4. Store Enrollment Report: The Store Enrollment Report tracks course enrollments of students in your organization. However, it is different from the 1-Click Report and the Registration Report, because it shows you all course enrollments, starting from with the date your organization was registered.
5. Store Students Report: The Store Students Report tracks the information of all students in your organization. It shows the which store they belong to, their position, name, username, email, language preference, status and the date when they were assigned to their position.
6. Store Information Report: The Store Information Report shows the information of your organization's hierarchy (headquarters, stores, positions).
7. Student Test Details Report: The Student Test Details Report tracks the results for all student post-tests. For each course enrollment, it shows the highest scored obtained in a post-test. A post-test listed multiple times indicates that the student has taken the course more than once.
Reports - How do I run a 1-Click Report?
The 1-Click Report details the student who is enrolled in the course, the date of the enrollment and their completion or drop date.

2. In the Online Training box, click Log On.
3. On the Logon page, enter your username and password, then click Logon.
4. Select a course list.
5. Click the Tools link.
6. Click the Download Report link. You will have the option to Open or Save the report in Excel format.
Reports - How do I run a report?
- 1. Go to the IGA Coca-Cola Institute's website: www.igainstitute.com
2. In the Online Training box, click Log On.
3. On the Logon page, enter your username and password, then click Logon.
4. Select either course list: All Courses or Enrolled Courses, and click Submit.
5. On the All Courses or on the Enrolled Courses page, click Tools.
6. In the TKM Tools window, click the link next to the report you would like to run. The list may differ depending on your access rights.
7. In the Report Wizard window, follow these instructions.
Tip 1: Some reports allow you to leave all or some of the parameters blank. The resulting report will include all the applicable records for your organization.
Tip 2: Business Unit refers to the name of your organization. Position refers to the Employee or Manager.
Tip 3: You can choose the report format: Excel or Webpage. (Exception: 1-Click Report is Excel only).
Tip 4: The windows described below differ slightly in each report.
Tip 5: The second and third windows described here appear only in these reports:
o Registration
o Store Enrollment
o Store Students
8. Introduction window: Describes the report.
9. Search org/store/pos window: Enter the organization/store/ position. Type the name in the first text box or the store code in the second text box.
10. Selection window: Select the organization/store/position. If you select the store name, it will include both the Manager and Employee positions.
11. Fields window: Shows the default fields that will be included in the report. You can add, remove and change the order of the fields. (Note: The next time you access the report, it will return to the default settings).
12. Format window: Select the report's format, search for specific records, and define how they will be sorted.
o Format – Select whether to view the report as an Excel file or as a Webpage.
o Search Criteria – You can choose to run the report for specific field values (For example: viewing only the enrollments of a particular course). Search fields vary from one report to the next.
o Sort By – You can choose a field by which to sort the report data.
13. When you click Next Step in the Format window, the system starts running the report. Reports with large amounts of data may take longer.
o If you chose Webpage, the report will display automatically.
o If you chose Excel, a banner will display beneath the menu. Click on it to display the pop-up menu. Select Download File, then click Open. The report will then open in Excel. You can manipulate the report data using Excel's tools.
Logon or Login - I forgot my username.
Usernames can only be retrieved by a manager or training coordinator.

2. In the Online Certification Courses box, click Log On.
3. On the Logon page, enter your username and password, then click Logon.
4. On the All Courses or on the Enrolled Courses page, click Tools.
5. In the dialog box, click OK.
6. In the TKM Tools window, find the Employee Information report and click View Report to run it.
7. On the Introduction page, click Next Step.
8. On the Define Fields and Display Order page, click Next Step. You can add, remove or reposition the fields.
9. On the Enter Criteria and Sorting Option page, select the report format (we suggest Excel), then click Next Step.
o If you chose Webpage, the report will display automatically.
o If you chose Excel, a banner will display beneath the menu. Click on it to display the pop-up menu. Select Download File, then click Open. The report will then open in Excel. You can manipulate the report data using Excel's tools.
10. Your username will be listed in the report.
Logon or Login - I forgot my password.
- 1. Go to the IGA Coca-Cola Institute's website: www.igainstitute.com
2. In the Online Certification Courses box, click Log On.
3. On the Logon page, enter your username, then click Forgot Your Password.
4. An automated email with your password will be sent to your email account or the email account listed on your registration form.
Resource Center - How do I login to the Resource Center?
Only owners and managers have access to the Resource Center.
1. Go to the IGA Coca-Cola Institute's website: www.igainstitute.com
2. Click on the Resource Center tab.
3. Click the Resource Center Logon button in the Resource Center box.
4. In the Alliance login box, enter your Username and Password, then click OK.
o Login is case sensitive.
5. Use the blue links to select the Training Manual or any of the other options.
