Department Insights at ISMC
This October, the IGA Coca-Cola Institute will bring together food retailers from around the world to network, learn and share management techniques at the International Supermarket Management Class (ISMC). This five-day immersion program taking place at the Coca-Cola headquarters in Atlanta, Ga., includes group activities, online courses and tours of local food retail stores, as well as presentations and demonstrations from 15 of the industry's most renowned experts, including: Harold Lloyd, Richard George, Ryan Mathews, Brian Harris and our newest expert, T. FuQua.
In his ISMC session, T. FuQua will deliver insights about one of the industry's fastest growing departments—the deli department. According to International Dairy, Deli, Bakery Association (IDDBA), the deli prepared food category has grown 50 percent in the last five years, with 27 percent of consumers shopping a full service supermarket deli at least once a week.
Drawing on more than 25 years of expertise in managing and executing shopper marketing strategies for Tyson Foods' key U.S. supermarket customers, FuQua will explore deli department marketing and promotions, demonstrating how retailers can create a destination deli department that will increase shopper loyalty and sales.
So come see T. FuQua and the other 14 industry experts at this years' ISMC. We hope to see you there.
Thank you,
The IGA Coca-Cola Institute
