SUPERMARKET MANAGEMENT CLASS

SMC GENERAL INFORMATION

Class Times and Location

Class begins at 8:00am every day unless otherwise notified. The day usually ends around 5:00pm except for the day of the store tour. The class will be held at The Coca-Cola Company Headquarters, 1 Coca Cola Plz, Atlanta, GA 30313. Arrive on the 12th of October; you can depart on the evening of the 17th or morning of the 18th.

Meals

Free breakfast is available at the hotel. Lunch will be provided daily. Dinner is on your own.

Materials

Copies of all the presentations, speakers' bios, and the agenda will be given to you on the first day of class in a 3-ring binder (click here to view the agenda). You will also receive a CD of all the presentations.

Cell Phones

Cell phones must be turned off during the class.

Dress Code

Business Casual:
Men – shirts with collars, shoes and socks, slacks/Dockers
Ladies – blouse and sweaters, skirts or slacks
Jeans are not acceptable attire.

Program Type:

Classroom Only

Those participants who choose to only attend the classroom training will receive a certificate of completion.

Diploma Program

NOTE: THE BLENDED PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE TO IGA INSTITUTE MEMBERS ONLY.

Pre-Class Phase: The pre-class phase increases the comprehension and efficiency level of attendees prior to the formal event. Please complete the following 8 courses: Those participants who choose to only attend the classroom training will receive a certificate of completion.

Additional Requisites for a Diploma:
- Loss Prevention
- Food Safety & Sanitation
- Introduction to Food & Health
- A course of your choice

Students who complete all 8 courses will receive a Diploma. All Certificates and Diplomas will be mailed 30 days after the conclusion of the class.
