 IGA Coca-Cola Institute Perspective

Can You Help Your Customers with Beer Choices?

A message to IGA Retailers from …
IGA Coca-Cola Institute

The IGA Coca-Cola Institute is pleased to announce the addition of the Beer Connoisseur curriculum to its online course certification program. The new curriculum -- which includes 15 courses designed to be an expert's guide to appreciating beer -- was developed in conjunction with Anheuser-Busch, and the online video presentations are led by Dave Lieberman, a Food Network personality, cookbook author, and personal chef.

The extensive curriculum covers beer from creation to consumption, providing the information your associates need to speak knowledgably to customers about this continually growing category. The initial courses describe the different ingredients used to make beer, the brewing process and the correct way to pour and store beer.

The courses continue with an exploration of the different styles, tastes and glassware associated with beer, and conclude with a section devoted to pairing the right beer with the right food. For more information on this new curriculum and a complete list of the courses involved, please visit the IGA Coca-Cola Institute Web site, or call us at (800)321-5442.

Thanks,

Your IGA Coca-Cola Institute
